BEIJING: China has offered to export 3,200 megawatt electricity to Pakistan.
The offer was made by Chinese officials throughout talks with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The Chinese officials said that the task could be completed in three years’ time.
Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the offer and said it needs to assess the offer to ensure cost effectiveness.
The Punjab Chief Minister along with his delegation is actually on a visit to China to talk about collaboration between Pakistan and ceramic in different areas especially power sector.
