FBI agent release on bail
A court in Karachi ordered to release FBI agent Joel Cox on bail. Joel cox was arrested in Jinnah international airport Karachi due to carrying fifteen bullets of nine mm pistol. After this a case was filed against Cox under the Arms act, Judicial Magistrate remanded him to four-handed.
U.S. officials on Thursday in the Court of District and Sessions Judge Malir presented his lawyer argued that his client was not involved in any criminal proceedings and not automatic weapon just magazines and bullets were found. Counsel argued that the FIR be bailable provisions, so his client be granted bail and will face trial. Judge ordered to release Cox on bail on deposit for a million bucks.
The U.S. State Department confirmed on Monday that arrested man from Karachi airport is an American citizen and FBI agent.
Joel was going to Islamabad from Karachi during the scanning bullets were found in his bag. The U.S. media quoted official sources that the Karachi Airport to arrest an American citizen, the FBI agent who was temporarily stationed in Pakistan.
