HYDERABAD / KARACHI: While indignant outcries over the latest wave of sexual crimes against minor young girls can still be heard, two more such occurrences supplemented more gravity to the picture.
On Saturday, a six-year-old young female was allegedly raped by her cousin in Orangi Town locality of Karachi. Her kin was arrested after the young female notified the police that he was the one to blame for the crime.
A alike incident was described from Kotri, Jamshoro, where a 7-year-old young female was allegedly raped by a juvenile man on Friday night. The girl’s dad said the casualty was coming back from tuition in the night when the suspect, Waqas Arain, abducted her. Dr Rukhsana Shaikh examined the child and handed out the health certificate confirming that she had been raped.
A case has been listed against the suspect under sections 375 and 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has taken observe of the case in Kotri, and has administered the Hyderabad deputy inspector general to take firm action against the criminals.
