WASHINGTON: Al-Qaeda chief Ayman AL-Zawahiri, in a talk assessing the 12th celebration of 9/11, called Thursday for attacks on the United States and a boycott of united states.
The speech was dispatched a day after America held ceremonies in honor of the almost 3,000 persons killed in the attacks of September 11, 2001.
“We should bleed America economically by provoking it to extend in its huge expenditure on its security, for the weak point of America is its economy, which has already started to stagger due to the infantry and security expenditure,” Zawahiri said according to the location transformation.
“And keeping America in stress and anticipation only charges a few disparate attacks here and there, meaning as we defeated it in the gang warfare in Somalia, Yemen, Iraq and Afghanistan, so we should pursue it with that war on its own land,” he supplemented.
Zawahiri went on to state that these hits could be “done by one brother or a couple of of the brothers” and that it was worth waiting for the right moment in alignment to climb on a large-scale attack.
“With these hits, we should monitor and lie in delay and grab any opportunity to land a large strike on it, even if it takes years of endurance for this,” he said.
Zawahiri furthermore referenced the twin blasting device blasts at the Boston marathon in April that left three dead and tallies hurt and maimed. (AFP)
