
- QUETTA: At least six people were killed Thursday when a blasting device exploded outside a police station in a busy marketplace in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province.
Police and rescue workers verified at smallest 20 persons were injured in the blast.
According to primary accounts, the blasting device was sown in a cycle parked out-of-doors the town police station beside the town Centre market in the provincial capital.
police said the blasting device, which used up to six kilograms of explosive material, was detonated by a timed apparatus.
The blast furthermore impaired some stores and vehicles parked in the market.
No militant assembly directly asserted blame for the strike.
