Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was briefed at the Army Head Quarters GHQ on interior and external security affairs in Rawalpindi today. This was Nawaz Sharif’s 1st Visit after holding the power, Sharif put a wreath at the martyrs Memorial and there he also attend a One on One meeting with General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani.

Earlier in the day, media accounts said several pressing issues, encompassing converses with the outlawed Pakistani Taliban and designation of a new Cheif Of Army Staff.

Pervaiz Rashid the Federal Minister of Information said Sharif’s visit to the General head office was directed at expressing solidarity with the martyrs of the army. He said the infantry had represented the sentiments of every patriotic Pakistani by criticising the Jamaat.
