Supreme Court (SC) has disqualified Yusuf Ayub, minister for communication Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK)
in fake degree case besides brushing aside appeal plea filed by him against the conclusion of election tribunal.
A 3-member bench of SC going by head fairness of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took up for hearing appeal plea filed by Yusuf Ayub against the conclusion of subordinate court Wednesday.
Tariq Mehmood support counsel for Yusuf Ayub took the plea his purchaser had challengedelection in 2002 on the basis of FA certificate and no inquiry was raised about non filing of BA degree. He made quotations to several conclusions.
The court commented “ it has been verified that Yusuf Ayub was not even suitable to challengesamples.
Yusuf Ayub had participated in election-2002 under FA certificate and subsequent he had filed fake degree of BA. He accomplished achievement throughout 2013 polls on the permit of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Haripur. The rival nominee had filed appeal in election tribunal against him and tribunal had announced him disqualified. Yusuf Ayub advanced High Court against this decision and high court upheld the decision of tribunal. subsequent he resorted to SC
