KARACHI: Pakistan is selected to host the 2nd Asian Snooker Championship and 3rd 6-Red Championship, the venue is decided at the biggest city and social and economic hub of Pakistan Karachi in August 2014,
Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) reported the good news. While the fame game cricket is ban in Pakistan due to security reasons, The PBSA won the bid to host the event of continental championship throughout the gathering of the Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports. throughout the year 2014, Pakistan senior and juvenile players will feature in seven international events.
Pakistan juveniles will appear in the forthcoming 15th Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship which is going to be held in Lucknow, India from April 5 to 11. Pakistan seniors will be glimpsed in action in the IBSF World 6-Red and World group Championship to be held in May for which venue will be finished in due course of time. Pakistan’s top cueists will comprise the country in the 30th Asian Snooker Championship to be held in Fujaira, joined Arab Emirates from April 26 to May 3. Other worldwide events in which Pakistani players are exclusive part of SangSom 6-Red World Championship in Bangkok next year and the IBSF World Snooker Championship to be held in October in Karachi.
