PCB imposed on fine five cricketers
Pakistan Cricket Board imposed a fine of $5000 to the five cricketers who took part with Danish Kaneria in Twenty tournaments at Houston who have been banned for spot-fixing charges Lifelong.
Abdul Razzaq, Wahab Riaz, Umar Akmal, Fawad Alam and Shahzaib Hasan among the cricketers were fined.
Note that the tournament which held 11 to 13 April, Pakistan Cricket Board’s director of marketing Badar Rafai was just warned.
Pakistan Cricket Board said about cricketers that they did not have permission to participate in the tournament.
Pakistan Cricket Board formed a three-member committee to investigate the case which had given its report to the PCB after taking statement of cricketers and hand over the meter to PCB integrity committee.
Pakistan Cricket Board had also asked for Danish Kaneria, but they were not present.
However, under ICC regulations, any player or official cannot play with any player or cricket club who involved in corruption.
Kaneria is now this time facing the life ban by ICC after the allegation of spot fixing. According to the decision Kaneria cannot play any type of cricket whether it is a club cricket or country cricket.
