Modi’s oath-taking ceremony
Pakistan’s Foreign Office has confirmed that Pakistan Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif attended the ceremony the oath ceremony of newly elected Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
The Foreign Office released a statement on Saturday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on May 26 on two-day visit to New Delhi and on Monday after attending the swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday, May 27, will also meet with Prime Minister Modi.The Pakistani Prime Minister, in addition to his Indian counterpart will meet the President of India.
The Foreign Office said that Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister with Sartaj Aziz, Tariq Fatmi Special Assistant for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Ministry Secretary will participate in this tour.
India’s newly elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif government,
India’s newly elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation, SAARC, its leaders were invited to participate in the inauguration officially.
The last year, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was invited to former Prime minester of India Manmohan singh to attend its own oath taking ceremony but they did not attend.
On the other hand, recently came to power in India, the Bharatiya Janata Party, expressed happiness over the decision of Nawaz Sharif to come to India.
