Syrian Election result
Syrian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Alham in existing presidential election in the country’s declared the victory of Bashar al-Assad as President.
He said Wednesday on a state TV that by getting 89% Votes Bashar-al-Assad became the president of Syria third time.
In the presidential election for the first time in decades, more than one name appears on the ballot paper, and Assad Hassan has competitor against him are Hassa-Al-Nori and Mahir Hajar candidates respectively received 4.3 and 3.2% votes.
President Election held in Syria after a long Civil War
In Syria, the presidential election is three years after the Civil War. The civil war that killed a million people, while millions have been displaced.
However, critics of the Syrian government election ‘fraud and deception’ is described. Visiting of neighboring Syria, Lebanon U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has said that the election is ‘meaningless’.
Syrian opposition boycotted the elections and strict security arrangements for the election polling place in these areas where the current is controlled by forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad.
Presidential elections in the country for more than thirty-nine thousand polling stations were established which remain open at 7’o clock in the morning local time but due to rush of voters at the end of five hours lasted until after midnight.
